It's Paul's Birthday

February 7th each year is special, it's my honey's birthday.  We have celebrated this day in many ways and in many countries but this year it was near San Padre Island at Port Isabel, Texas at Pirates Landing Restaurant.

It was just Paul and I and our sweet, little Mexican waitress in a very quaint room with lots of pirate memorabilia. Mahi, Mahi was on Paul's menu and mine was chicken piccata with a virgin pina colada. I thought of home and our delicious new pina colada cake that we just created, as I enjoyed this cool drink.   Flan was our dessert with a candle and singers on hand to serenade Paul, all of this a gift from our dear daughter, Julie.  Thanks again honey.
